"I would like to let you know that I have just finished talking with a trainee of National Hire Group in Sydney. He participated in the Road Transport Certificate III Traineeship program with CLB Training as the RTO. I contacted him regarding an early completion application I received. I was very happy to hear that the training was well coordinated with the learners work schedules and that the trainees felt that they had learnt something after every training session. The trainee mentioned that his trainer was very easy to talk with and connect with and that most of the time the trainees felt as though they were just sitting around chatting until the trainer would ask them at the end of the session what they had learnt. He spoke in plain english and delivered the training at a level that was consistent with his learners. The trainees feel that they have taken a lot from the traineeship program and have progressed on the job as a result.

"During 2009 BAE Systems Australia - Maritime identified a need to enhance the skills of personnel who transferred from our trade fraternity to office technical staff. Although these employees had been using various applications of MS Office Suite, BAE Systems Australia - Maritime offered formal training to further develop the skills of staff utilising this software.
During our research for a training provider, CLB Training was recommended and after investigation it was determined that this company met the training needs of BAE Systems Australia - Maritime. "THL have been working with CLB Training and Development since June 2008. We currently have 20 employees undertaking training in a Certificate IV Customer Contact, and more recently in a Certificate IV Business Administration.
THL was seeking a training company that could provide training in our 8 branch locations spread across Australia. THL wanted to ensure training consistency across all locations, and ideally one CLB facilitator delivering all training. Finally, THL required the inclusion of several Customer Service training units that were not part of the original Certificate IV Customer Contact course. The trainer was excellent in his teachings and all staff appreciated that he incorporated a lot of interaction and performance.

"We would like to thank the team at CLB for the excellent service and commitment to training at Percepta for 2008. We started the year with our existing provider no longer able to provide the Certificate IV Customer Contact and in a situation where we had to choose between a number of suppliers that pitched for our business.
The hands on approach from CLB with a genuine care for our business had us sold against some large competition. That said, it remained to be seen as to how the programme would be customised and delivered and once again CLB did not disappoint.
Our trainer has been an asset to Percepta, with a wealth of knowledge from a background in a similar business to ours, she has a connection with the learners that is difficult to replace.
CLB's courseware developers made customising the materials easy. They were willing to compromise on materials, but never on quality, and always ensured that the right Percepta examples were used where appropriate.
The team at CLB has taken the mystery out of the paper chasing through the Government which has been a real value add for us.
To end the year, our own Training Coordinator resigned and with the help of CLB we managed to complete the Certificate IV programme with limited Percepta resources. We held a graduation ceremony to celebrate the success of the graduates in 2008.

Their training administration team handled the Government registration process and co-ordination of all claim forms to enable us to receive the Government incentive on time.
CLB enlisted the services of their in-house courseware developer to work with our internal training team to re-write and tailor some of the resources and assessments in order to give bank of Queensland a truly relevant program – aimed to give us the outcomes we required.
Training delivery occurs monthly for 2 – 6 full days in each state where the various training groups are rotated into half day sessions over this period.
